Meet Kachine
Kachine Blackwell taught preschool, got a JD-MBA from Northwestern University, and worked in Aerospace before realizing that what she really loves is creating, using her imagination, and empowering other people to do the same. Good Practice is what happened when she stopped ignoring that.
Founded on the belief that creativity is a shared human impulse and not a performance or a pursuit of expertise, Good Practice is a studio for people who want to make things without pressure or pretense. Think café, but instead of food, you order art experiences. Sit down, browse the menu, pick your medium, and create. Mistakes are encouraged. There's no pressure to produce a finished product. Just materials, inspiration, snacks, and a box to hide your phone.
Good Practice is intentionally shaped as a community space. A third place where connection and creative engagement don't require any particular skill or background. Whether you're unwinding after work, looking for a unique date spot, or simply curious, you're welcome here.
We're based in Denver at 2931 W 25th Ave. Classes and programming are coming soon.
Creativity is an inner oasis. We'd love for you to practice with us.
