June 10th, 7pm-9pm Everyday Lettering

$50.00

June 10th, 7pm-9pm

Your handwriting called. It wants a glow-up.

Whether you write in chicken scratch, gave up on cursive in 3rd grade, or just refuse to let the art of handwriting die. This class is for you.

Join Becca Rolater, a science teacher with over 10 years of experience and handwriting so beautiful it should probably be illegal, for an evening of modern calligraphy and hand lettering at Good Practice. Becca actually learned cursive in school (a rare and noble skill) and is here to pass that gift on to the rest of us.

You'll walk away with a foundation in basic cursive and calligraphy styles, plus a toolkit of modern lettering fonts to mix and match however you like. No prior experience is needed, just a willingness to slow down and put pen to paper.

You'll leave with:

A handwriting workbook to keep practicing at home

A custom sign you'll letter yourself by the end of class. Think about what you might want a sign of! I’ll be making a family sign for my front door.

The ability to finally impress your grandma on her next birthday card because she deserves better than whatever you've been sending her.

This one's for the journalers, the letter writers, the hopeless romantics, and anyone who thinks a handwritten note will always beat a text.
